3 Day Floral Course
3rd to 5th Feb 2011 in Melksham (Residential & non residential options available)
If you love the beauty of flowers, and have always wanted to learn how to paint them in oils, then this course is for you.
Using the tried and tested Bob Ross wet on wet technique anyone can produce stunning flowers, and this introductory course is the perfect way to start.
This course is designed for your enjoyment, held in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and suitable for all levels of painters from absolute beginner to advanced student. You will have the benefit of being taught and assisted by me, ensuring you receive quality tuition from start to finish. All you have to do is turn up and have fun.
Day 1
On the first day we will focus on learning and practicing the techniques used to produce different leaf shapes, and basic flowers. You will be creating individual petals, and their distinct ruffles and folds.
Days 2 & 3
Days two & three puts into practice everything you learnt on the first day. Step by step we will paint two (one each day) beautiful floral paintings on 16 x 20” canvases, which you will be proud to take home.
All materials, tuition and use of equipment is included in the price
Our venue is the Kings Arms conference centre in the heart of Melksham town centre. The course starts each day promptly at 10.00, and we will aim to finish around 16.30 (but this time may vary depending on painting speeds). Residential spaces are available, and I have negotiated a B&B discount with the Kings Arms.
The special package price for painters is £165.00* per person, (non residential, excluding food)
For a painter staying in a single room the price for two nights B&B is £280.00*.
Non painting partners are also welcome at a reduced B&B rate.
A non refundable deposit of £50.00* per person is required to secure your booking, with full payment required by 12th January 2011.
